Small collection of Brooks Adams' papers, 1896-1915, containing personal and business letters to Adams from Theodore Roosevelt and Henry Adams, among others; letters from Adams to Worthington C. Ford, at the Massachusetts Historical Society, regarding the Adams family papers; and account balances from J. R. Sherwood Investments. Also includes a typed manuscript copy, with annotations, of an essay later published in the Law of Civilization and Decay.
